This is such an important topic and something I constantly struggle with. It’s particularly challenging for me because my teenage daughter lost her sister a couple of years ago, and I’ve found myself filling that role a bit with her (although, I have grown very close with my younger daughter since we lost her sister and I must admit I am very grateful for that).
