It's not worth the effort. It turned out that the person was part of a subreddit for people who hate being alive and blame their parents for bringing them into the world. I fell down the rabbit hole of reading a bunch of their posts and it really was one of the most miserable corners of the internet. These were people who were deeply angry and depressed and I just ended up feeling bad for all of them.
