I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Yes, we also learned the cost of many things we’d assumed would be covered (like an ambulance ride between hospitals that we were essentially forced to take and then got a $1500 bill for). It adds so much devastation to an already devastating time in people’s lives.
