Beautifully written and expressed. I struggled with this same question when my daughter died and my younger daughter still struggles with it when people ask if she has any siblings. Now I tell people that I have two daughters, one who is 15 and one who would’ve been 18, but who died of cancer a few years ago. It makes for an uncomfortable silence, but I don’t mind that anymore.
