I've been hanging around Medium for almost 5 years and the water's fine. I am many things: writer, mother, birder, wife, lover of tiny dogs, novice mushroom forager, halfway decent artist, mediocre photographer, terrible gardener...

I earn a decent living as a content writer penning masterpieces about generative AI, eCommerce technology and trends, martech, online learning/upskilling/training, and all things digital marketing.

Medium is the place where I write what I want to write. That's mostly been essays about parental grief, middle age, mental health, my heartfelt attempts to parent a child who is alive and one who is not. Also birds, mushrooms, dissertations about my dog, my house, THE MENOPAUSE (spoken in a whispery scream) and the occasional rant about stuff that's bothering me.

I occasionally republish essays that have been featured elsewhere and I've been honored to be featured in various Medium publications. Bylines include: Human Parts, GEN, Marker, OneZero, Washington Post, Al Jazeera, Pulse, HuffPost, Longreads, and Modern Loss. I've also written a few middle grade children's fantasy novels, but that's neither here nor there.
